MADIBA LIVES ON IN OUR HEARTS

It's an honour to pay tribute to a man who has imparted this generation so much and so positively.
A man most of us never met yet we spoke about like our favourite grand pa.
I used to imagine myself in a picture taken with this legend...wishful thinking.
What mostly comes to mind when Nelson Mandela is mentioned is UNITY AND FORGIVENESS.
Two virtues our world today could do with.
Even now when he's passed on to glory,his wisdom and ideals we still carry in our hearts.
As the world mourns Madiba,i'd like us to reflect on some of the deep and thoughtful words of wisdom he shared with us.
And probably learn a thing or two from this legend.
In reality,Madiba will never die,bacause he lives on....in our minds and in our hearts.

Ghanaian Fashion Label Ameyo presents REFLECTION SS 14.
This is their first print fabric design and was inspired by the nature and cracks from a broken mirror.

"As we seek perfection we often fail to see that perfection is a mirage in the distortion of imperfections. Humans are as flawed as the pieces of a broken mirror, but in our little pieces of brokenness we are beautiful"-


The collection is effortlessly feminine with bold and colourful print patterns. The broken effects of the print and feminine silhouettes symbolize the journey every woman makes in perfecting herself and learning who she really is.

We love and celebrate the curves of a woman and every piece adorns and tells a story of the "Ameyo Woman" in a different way.
